It’s finally feeling like fall, the leaves are turning and there is a chill in the air. People are lining up at Starbucks for the warm seasonal pumpkin spice lattes. The mountains are crowded with people for the view of the colorful leaves. Fall boots and sweaters are seen more often as the days become shorter. It’s the time of the year for tailgating and cheering on your favorite football team. Along with all these fall traditions, Windy Hill Orchard is a popular fall tradition located only 20 minutes from South Pointe right off of Blacks Hwy.

Warm apple cider donuts, apple pies, and hot apple cider are in season at Windy Hill Orchard. The locally owned farm stand and cider bar offers a family fun atmosphere for all ages. They offer a variety of fall activities, such as hay rides, apple picking, and live music. They are most known for their mouthwatering donuts, pies, award-winning hard cider, and candy apples. They are open Thursday through Sunday all season, so everyone should not miss out on a chance to taste their well-known fresh apple cider donuts coated with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar. Windy Hill is the perfect place for anyone looking to enjoy fall festivities.
