On Feb. 28th, Junior Jaylen Mahoney received his third offer from Ball State University.

Mahoney has been playing football since he was six years old and plans on never stopping. During the end of his freshman season, he moved up to Varsity. His contribution as a defensive back went unnoticed.

Before his most recent one, Mahoney received offers from Miami-Ohio University and Kent State University.

This year was a big year for Mahoney, as his got his third state championship ring, which he labeled as his biggest accomplishment.

Mahoney states, “I’m going to keep working out and perfecting my craft and hopefully more will come.”

Mahoney knows that to achieve more offers, he will have to stay dedicated to all the aspects that football contains. He will have to spend endless hours practicing to perform better, in hopes of playing football at the next level.
