The South Pointe Stallion’s varsity football team defeated Greenville High School 28-27 on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 P.M. Tied 21-21 at the end of the third quarter, Sr. Marice Whitlock scored a touchdown for the Stallions with a 40 yard run to start off the fourth quarter. Winning 28-21, Greenville scores a touchdown but did not gain the extra point, losing to the Stallions 28-27. Next Friday, South Pointe will play Indian Land High School away at 7:30 P.M.
