The South Pointe Stallions Varsity Football team celebrated their Senior Night against York High School on Nov. 1, 2019 with a victory of 48-21.

Senior players, cheerleaders, and members of the band were embraced by friends and loved ones for one of their final games in The Corral with commencement presentations by the athletic department and coaches.

The following week on Nov. 8, 2019, the Stallions competed in the first round of the Class AAAA playoffs and lost to Greer High School. The team’s end to a season might not have ended the way the Stallions may have desired, but overall, South Pointe’s season as a whole went well under the leadership of new head coach DeVonte Holloman. The Stallions held a record of 10-1, reclaimed the title of City Champs, and maintained a 5-0 Region record.
