The clock hits zero at Charlie W. Johnson stadium, home of the Benedict Tigers. The scoreboard reads 41-7 and the Stallions have won another football state championship. Fast forward to 2022, and the pressure is on to win another championship, but now there is a new South Pointe High Head Coach, Bobby Collins, and very few returning seniors. Nevertheless, they are ready to repeat the same outcome from last year.

As of October 11, 2022, the Stallions’ win-loss count is 5-2, with their first loss coming from South Florence High School in Florence, South Carolina, the second loss coming from Catawba Ridge High School in Fort Mill, South Carolina. But they stopped that losing streak by beating the Lancaster Bruins by a score of 10-2. So far, the Stallions are 1-1 in the region, having a chance to win the Region.  The future is looking bright for the Stallions, but can they keep it up to win this year’s State Championship?

Let’s Go, Stallions!!!!
