Information has been released from the Atlanta-based pizzeria, Mellow Mushroom will open it’s newest Charlotte area location in Rock Hill soon.

The company just recently released information in October that they purchased the $975,000 building in Manchester Village.

According to city development activity reports, the remodeling of the building is currently underway.

Along with Mellow Mushroom, there have been other additions to the growing Dave Lyle Boulevard corridor this past year. Sam’s Club, Buffalo Wild Wings, along with Texas Roadhouse have added Rock Hill to their list of locations.

The former restaurant at the location suffered harshly from the ever-changing economy. ‘Harry and Jeans’ closed in 2010 from decreasing sales.

From perception of the new development in the Rock Hill area, the economy is beginning to pick back up and the new pizzeria, Mellow Mushroom hopes to open this April.
